Megir 3006L watch - Relogio Masculino, unboxing and review

Today we’re having a closer look at the Megir 3006L watch.
The watch is very classy and stylish, with its simplistic and at the same time sophisticated look.

Case

The unique design of the case with the crown guard / lock around the crown, makes it look very nice, while it also protects the crown from any accidental movement or strains from the wrist. At first I thought the extra bulk from the guard would cause some discomfort, but it has not been the case. The rounded square design , with the round inside, looks very good indeed. Material used, is alloy steel.
Compared to a flat glass watch, the domed glass on this Megir model, gives it a nice and elegant look.
This is a very attractive case!

Dial

The size of the dial is 37 mm, and the domed glass makes the dials easier to read. Dials are made of shiny metal, with a light green luminated line in it. All the dials, including sub-dials, are lumed. Also the hour indexes and the “12” is also lumed. The dial is of sandwich construction, with the “12” and hour indexes recessed.
The chronograph/stopwatch is engaged by the buttons, but there`s no click when pressed. Only 2 of the sub-dials are used by the chronograph, and not the larger seconds-dial.
Left sub-dial shows hours, while the bottom sub-dial shows seconds when using the stopwatch. The right sub-dial, shows “hour of day”, so it’s not used by the stopwatch.
There is also a date wheel, stylishly placed on the side in an angle.

Strap/Band

The leather band is 2-2.3 cm wide, 20cm long, of good quality, and also feels comfortable on the wrist.
Since the bands are of cushion style, they’re not flat, which makes them look nice and feel soft.
