Case
When you first look at this watch, you may think “what a nice looking metal watch”, but you’ll be surprised. The case is in fact silver painted plastic. At a distance or quick look, you’ll not notice it. When looking closer at the details, it becomes more clear that it’s not metal.
The watch still looks nice though, and looks almost identical to Casio AE1200WHD.
All four buttons on the sides are of course functional, and are made of metal.
The case is 43 mm wide and 13 mm thick. Total weight is about 85 grams.
Display
The display is separated in 4 parts:
Upper right display marked “Timer”, shows if the alarm function is turned on.
Upper left display seems to be only decorative, but it works…
Middle display shows day (MON, TUE, WED…), or what function you are using at the moment (AL=Alarm,ST=Stopwatch,DT=Dual time etc).
Bottom (main) display shows time, date and if you’re using 24 or 12 hour clock. Stopwatch, Alarm, Countdown, etc is also using this display.
All displays are very clear and easy to read, also in darkness.
Strap/Band
The metal band is 18 mm wide, of good quality, and also feels comfortable on the wrist.
This is of the folding type with safety. It’s easy to open and close, but sits firm and doesn’t come loose.
Since the band is of metal it gives the watch a more expensive feel.
Conclusion
A nice looking and comfortable watch, with a good and very easy to read display. It has more functions than you would expect from an inexpensive digital watch.
