In the box
In the package is the expected user manuals and the thermometer. Although, the manuals are in Chinese only…
Design/Function
The thermometer has a nice clean design, with only one button, and all details are in white color, with a top surface of transparent plastic.
Its very easy to read the temperature; Just hold the device 1-3 cm from the skin and click the button. Reading only takes 1 second and the result will be visible in the LED-display. It actually makes 100 readings during this second, and it compensates for indoor and environmental temperatures before it shows the result. When the result is ready, the device also vibrates to let you know it’s done.
The display is not visible when the device is off, as it is hidden under the top of the front glass.
It uses a German Heimann sensor, which is supposed to be very accurate and reliable, and accuracy should be +/- 0.2 degrees C.
To get the correct body temperature, measurements should be done in the forehead.
It’s powered by two AAA-batteries, which was included in the package.
All this for a low price of 28$, makes this a bargain!
Conclusion
The iHealth is a very nice looking device, and its very accurate. It’s also very easy to use, and the price is good.
Pros

Cons
LED display is a bit difficult to read in direct sunlight, but let’s be honest; If you think you have a fever, your probably not laying in the sun… So it’s not really a problem.
