Megir 2081 - A sporty look - Simply Unbox It

Today we have a nice watch from Megir, with a brushed bezel, full chronograph and more.

Design

This is a rough looking watch, but it has some nice details here and there.
Black bands with metal on the edges and a slightly brushed bezel. There are also some metal details in the dial itself and it helps to blend the design more together.

Case and window

The case is a traditional shape, but the sides are quite flat. At least on the left side. Personally i’m not a fan of flat sides, but it doesn’t look too bad anyways.
On top is the bezel, and it’s slightly brushed. Text, lines and triangles are black cutouts, and it looks good.

The window is made of Hardlex, is flat and flush with the top of the case.

One thing that some people might not like, is the screws on the lugs. They stick out a bit, but i think it adds to the overall rough design.
The watch is only rated 30M water resistance, so it’s only protected against rain and daily use. Don’t use it while swimming or in the shower!

Dial

The dial is dark blue, and has a bit of a plastic look to it. It’s surrounded by white markes for hours. These are also the luminous areas.
Every minute is marked by white lines, and every 5 minutes is written in white text.

The main hands are made of metal, with a white arrow in the end (hour and minute). The seconds hand is red to match two of the sub dials.

It’s not going to be difficult to tell the time in the dark, since hands are hours are well marked.

Bands

Bands are made of leather, and are comfortable enough.
White stitches and silver metal details look nice, and match the overall design very well.

The clasp also looks nice, and adds to the overall impression.

Movement

The movement is a Langexin LD57. I couldn’t find to much information about it, but i did some tests myself. The average accuracy result was +1 seconds per day.

Wearing

Conclusion

It’s a nice looking watch, and i like the cutouts on the bezel and the brushed metal. The left side on the case is high polished and makes it look a little bit cheap. It’s also a bit bulky for my taste. But overall the watch looks nice and interesting. It’s comfortable to wear, and has a working chronograph. For only 25 USD it’s a nice package!
