Review video is at the bottom of this page.

In the box

The watch is nicely packed in a hard cardboard box, and comes with a USB-cable for charging and transfering files. There’s also two user manuals inculded, one for the watch, and one for the app.

Design

The design is clean and it looks like any other activity band. The only thing that stands out a bit, is the thickness. It’s a bit thicker than most band, probably to fit the camera, microphone, etc in this little device.
The bands are made of TPE rubber, and are quite comfortable to wear, and they look nice.

Display

From the pictures it can look like the whole front of the watch is a display, but that’s not the case. In fact, only the portion showing text is the screen, so it’s actually quite small.

This is not an always-on display, and to activate it we have to click the top button on the right side of the watch.

Features / Activity / Camera

The main screen will show you the time, date and activity data;
steps, calories, distance, percentage of reached goal.

Although activity data is nice to have, it’s probably not the main reason anyone will buy this watch. The main reason will be the ability to record video and audio.

To control the functions on this band there are three buttons on the right side.

Top button; Used to cycle through the different information on the display.
Button button; Hold this button for 2 seconds to set the camera in standby.

When it’s in standby there’s a few option on what you can do next:
– Click again to start recording video.
– Click the middle button to take photos (each click will take 3 photos)
– Click and hold the middle button to record audio only.

On the left side of the band you see a LED-light. This will light up or blink to tell you what’s going on with the camera (see manual or video for more details).

Connectivity

The band can be cconnected to any pc for transfering files. Just use the included USB cable. Another possibility is to remove the memory card, and use a card reader to transfer the files.

Files are sorted into three folders, depending on the type of recording you choose to do.
There’s separate folders for photos, audio, and videos.

Below are three sample photos that i took with the camera.

When the watch is connected to a PC by USB it can also be use as a webcam.

The App

The app is called FangZouDiu and must be downloaded from their website, as it’s not available in the play store.

Although you can see basic activity data (for the current day) here, it’s not much more you can do that is related to the band itself. You can’t watch photos or videos taken by the watch.

If you want notifications about incoming calls or messages you’ll need to use the app of course. Although, the focus seems to be on tracking people, creating groups with family and friends, and chatting with, but other than that i don’t see much need for it.

Conclusion

The watch has some functions for tracking activity data (for the current day), but the real focus here is on the camera functions.
The camera is under the dark coloured glass in the front, and is difficult to notice.
The camera makes ok pictures and video, but the 30fps video isn’t as smooth as i hoped for. If the light is good, is it very clear though.
Controlling the camera can be done, without ever looking at the device, as it will vibrate when standby mode is activated, then just click the correct button for making pictures, videos or audio only.
Buttons can be a bit hard to push.

For the price of 25 USD it’s a nice camera watch though! Check out the video below!

Pros

Nice and clean design
Comfortable to wear
Build quality seems good, although it’s not waterproof
Built in camera and microphone

Cons

Buttons are a bit stiff and hard to push.
Camera functions are not shown on the screen. Only LED-light on the side.
(probably to hide from other people that your recording, so may not really be a con).
Very limited app.
